Fix SCCM Client Issues troubleshooting

1. Do the machine clean with ccmclean.exe
2. Then use ccmsetup.exe /uninstall (These both steps will make our system to be cleaned perfectly)
3. Rename repository folder after stopping the WMI services
4. Rename SMScfg.ini
5. Reboot the machine and try reinstalling.

1. run c:\windows\ccmsetup\ccmsetup.exe /uninstall
wait until ccmsetup disappears in taskmgr - then
2. rd c:\windows\ccm
3. rd c:\windows\ccmcache
4. rd c:\windows\ccmsetup
5. del c:\windows\smscfg.ini
6. del HKLM\software\Microsoft\ccm registry keys
7. del HKLM\software\Microsoft\CCMSETUP registry keys
8. del HKLM\software\Microsoft\SMS\
9. del HKLM\software\Microsoft\Systemcertificates\SMS\Certificates done


Reboot and perform below if still error persist

SCCM Installation displays WMI namespace error code 80041002

When attempting to install the SCCM Client on a pc you may run into a client where the installation fails. In a case I ran into I noticed it failed while trying to create the WMI namespaces for CCM\SoftwareMeteringAgent and CCM\SoftwareUpdates.

The error states it will retry in 120 minutes but it will just fail again.
Question: So what is this telling us?
Answer: This is telling us that WMI does not have a clue what to do.
Resolution: We must first stop the WMI service. You may see a warning about stopping the WMI and CCMSetup Services. Go ahead and say “yes” to stop the services. Once stopped you will need to rename the %WinDir%\System32\Wbem\Repository folder to “repository.old”.

Once the folder is renamed, restart the “Windows Management Instrumentation service”. This will recreate the repository folder.
If it still exists you can restart the CCMSetup service or start a fresh client installation. Monitor the ccmsetup.log file and you will see a successful client installation.
