A script to help automatically repair systems with WMI and SCCM client issues. It should be configured to run as a computer startup script through group policy and you will need to modify the Define Settings section before implementing it. The script performs the following functions:
- Installs the SCCM client if it is not found
- Repairs the SCCM client if corruption is suspected
- Attempts to repair or rebuild (optional) WMI if it is found to be corrupt. Note that this step will also reset DCOM security to default.
Note: Since this script modifies WMI and DCOM, it is provided as-is and is used at your own risk. With that said, this script has done wonders for me in automating the repair of evil systems - and we've had a LOT where I work!
